On April 7th, we donated 150 of our Dental Kits to the Philly House! It was a pleasure working with them and we look forward to consistently dropping off our kits to help more people in need. Thanks to everyone’s support, D4U can continue doing its mission to help improve the oral health of underserved people in the Philadelphia Area!
THE DENTURE 4 YOU FOUNDATION AT A GLANCE
The Denture 4 You Foundation knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by but, most notably, through the actions of our initiatives. In 2022, the founder of this non-profit, Claudia Kim, realized how so many people who live in poverty lack proper denture care and suffer from the loss of teeth. By using her passion for dentistry, and connecting with the owner of South Philly Dental, Byounggon Kim, she ultimately decided to launch The Denture 4 You Foundation.
Denture 4 You Foundation Dental Kit Program
Not only does the Denture 4 You Foundation provide financial aid for dentures, but we also help with preventative measures by providing dental kits for those in need. Our kits consist of a toothbrush and toothpaste, which are essentials we all need, but are often overlooked when donating to shelters. According to Invisible People, a nonprofit that advocates for the homeless, 98% of staff at shelters stated that dental care is the most unfulfilled need for the homeless. By donating our kits, we would be able to aid in preventing the root cause of underprivileged people requiring dentures.
